With almost 50 exciting, fast rides and attractions, such as thrilling rollercoasters - including the only double corkscrew rollercoaster in Europe, a log flume ride, a large-indoor entertainment complex, a play area for younger children with ball pits, a tenpin bowling alley, a golf simulator, a bar and a restaurant, M & D's Theme Park is close to Glasgow's Bellshill train station and is within easy reach of central Glasgow.

Glasgow Zoopark is located in the eastern suburbs of Glasgow, in the North Lanarkshire area. This is the perfect attraction for children visiting Glasgow and attractions include lions, tigers, monkeys, bears, rhinos, a reptile house, parrot shows, birds of prey demonstrations and much more besides. There is also a children's zoo area at Glasgow Zoopark, where children are able to handle some of Glasgow Zoopark's more friendly animals, such as rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, pigs, goats and other farmyard animals.

The Scottish Mask and Puppet Centre, in the West End of Glasgow, is a major centre for puppet companies throughout the world. Attractions at Glasgow's Scottish Mask and Puppet Centre include puppet-making courses, workshops, an extensive puppet library, a theatre, regular puppet exhibitions and there are frequent puppet shows between September to June on Saturdays at 14:00. The Scottish Mask and Puppet Centre is close to Glasgow's Hillhead train station.
